Civil liability
Still called third party insurance, it is the only mandatory guarantee. It intervenes every time you have a traffic accident. Its role is to repair the property damage and bodily injury that your accident caused to your opponent, including bodily injury to the passengers in your vehicle.
It saves you from having to pay off your opponent or your passengers.
Any accident risk
Reserved for new vehicles less than 3 years old.
Accidental damage
We compensate you for damage to your vehicle in the event of an accident.
Collision Damage
We compensate you for damages resulting from a collision of your vehicle with another vehicle or an identified pedestrian.
Expert fees
We will compensate you for the costs incurred by you as a result of an expert appraisal following a loss.
Total flight
We compensate you in case of theft or attempted theft of your vehicle.
Partial theft
We indemnify you for any theft of accessories and spare parts delivered with the vehicle, and those incorporated and declared.
Fire
We cover you for damage caused by fire, engine explosion or any other explosion.
Electrical hazards
Fire coverage extends to damage to appliances and machines receiving or emitting electrical currents.
Glass breakage
We cover you against accidental damage to the windshield, side windows, sunroof windows and rear window.
Individual Transported Persons (IPT) or individual driver accident
In the event of an accident, we will compensate you for bodily injury to any person carried in your vehicle. Only bodily injuries suffered by the driver in the event of an accident are covered under the driver’s personal accident insurance.
Vehicle repair assistance (0-15 years)
We insure, up to the amount of the policy, the repair of your vehicle following a collision, a rollover, a fire, a theft or an attempted theft.
If the vehicle is declared a wreck and therefore unrecoverable, Chanas Assurances S.A. will still pay you an indemnity.
Deprivation of use
A daily indemnity is paid to you following a disaster that would make you temporarily unable to use your vehicle.
Recourse/defense
Recourse consists in claiming compensation from the opposing party in the event of a claim, and defense consists in defending your interests before the criminal courts so that only and only the damage committed by your fault is covered.
Riots/Popular Movements
We cover damage to your vehicle in the event of a riot, strike, act of vandalism or civil commotion, provided that the insured does not participate in any way.
Theft/Braking
Chanas Assurances covers damages resulting from theft or attempted theft following an attack on your vehicle.
Theft-Fire/Bullying
In addition to the indemnity resulting from a theft following an attack, you are indemnified for damages resulting from a fire for the same reasons.
Apart from Civil Liability, Third Party Liability and Fire, which are mandatory by law, you are free to choose the coverage that suits you.
